#ISIS is said to have plundered #Yazidi habitations in the captured lands, mercilessly killing hundreds of their young men, and sex-enslaving their women.
In sheer desperation thousands of these helpless Yazidis climbed up the inhospitable Mt Sinjar.
A #BBC documentary showed how a devout #Sikh, #Ravi, was moved by their plight to plunge himself to social service and now takes grave risks to collect and reach them private relief.
When one sees such courageous humanism in the midst of such utter barbarism one feels somewhat reassured, in the midst of despair and frustration.
One also feels that religions can be put to both ends: cruelty, and kindness.

Can any reader please put me in touch with a Yazidi victim or activist serving them?
